Savannah River Port Tour - 2hr
Departing from River Street, we circle the downtown riverfront, then
cruise under the Talmedge Bridge and slide past large container ships being
loaded and unloaded by gigantic cranes. Or tour takes us past the numerous
industrial enterprises, such as: warehouses, paper mills, fuel depots, kaolin
cylos, sugar plants, power plants and more. We discuss the history of the
area, including the old rice plantations and trading post that once sat along
the banks of the river.
Savannah Wildlife Tour - 2-4hr | These
cruises depart either from River Street to include the port tour, or from the
Hullahan Bridge for a tour of the Savannah Wildlife Refuge and Mulberry Grove.
We meander through the Middle River, visit the sites of old rice plantations
trunk gates, and keep our eyes open for bald eagles, osprey, and
alligators.
Ebeneezer Alive Tour - 4hr or Overnight Retreat | This cruise can depart either from River Street or from the
Hullahan Bridge Ramp for a tour of the Savannah Wildlife Refuge and a scenic
20 mile cruise up the Savannah River to Ebeneezer Alive. This history site
was once the home of the early Saltsburger Settlement and has been wonderfully
preserved by the Luthern Church, which also runs a camp and retreat. Come up
for a visit to see the museum, let them prepare a delicious meal for your
group in their cafeteria, or spend the night in their clean cabins. They can
provide a complete inspirational package or work with your group to supply
what you need for a truly memorable experience.
Design Your Own Cruise | Discuss what you would like to do and we can make suggestions on
where you might like to go and give you some suggestions on fun things to do.
Our captains have been showing folks the wonders of Savannah's regional waters
for 7 years and would be glad to help design a cruise to fit your budget and
goals.
