Joe Cremeans is the president and driving force behind Christian Marine Ministries. Joe's vision is to blend his love of Christ with his love for the water and share both with as many young people as possible. A resident of Coastal Georgia for many years, Joe has enjoyed a personal relationship with Christ as well as the beauty, solitude, and wonder of His creation. And no where is that more pronounced than in the creeks and marshlands surrounding Savannah, Georgia.

Joe realized that society has changed in ways that haven't always been good. When he grew up, most kids played outside, learned to hunt and fish at an early age, and had an intimate knowledge of nature and the great outdoors. Today, most children spend their free time in front of a TV, computer, or video game and rarely get to enjoy the types of experiences that lead to a life-long appreciation for nature and the environment.

In 2003, Joe reached out to church leaders, and charter boat captains to form Christian Marine Ministries, with a mission to share the Gospel in a unique manner. Believing that all of creation is a testimony to the magesty of God, Joe sought to find a way to introduce young people to the unique environment of coastal Georgia, in a manner that was Christ-centered and uplifting - not just to those who could afford to go, but to all kids who wanted to go.

Joe's idea was to create a nonprofit that could accept donations and make it possible for deserving low-income children to experience the wonders of nature, encounter dolphin, and be exposed to an uplifting message about their Creator and His plan for their life. He also wanted to provide this experience for church groups of all types - seniors, youth, married couples, and others who sought nature-based activities for fun, fellowship, and worship.

In 2005, Joe discovered the dynamic film, "God's Story", which tells the story of the Gospel in a way that is powerful and convincing. Joe quickly moved to acquire this movie in over 120 languages and make it available for groups to see around the world. Your donations to this ministry can help spread the Gospel world-wide.
